To see Kathendu coffee is to understand what perfect green coffee looks like. Festus Kathendu has been pushing forward the science of coffee agronomy. His farms have introduced natural and organic methods to improve biodiversity, reduce pests, and enhance the coffee product. His farms produce some of the best coffee of Meru County, Kenya, and certainly the world.

Christian Mwenda, Festus’s son, has a university degree in Agricultural Engineering. He previously ran his own consulting business, Agri-Biotech Farm International, providing coffee farmers with bespoke advice for the agronomy needs of their farms and coffee trees. His agricultural services company has been awarded back-to-back Certificates of Excellence. Undugu farms is proud to have Christian as part of the Undugu Kenya team.
